I remember it well: I moved old artworks from my study time from the house where I grew up to my new home. I had painted this work without the white symbol on it when I was 21. I made it as a self-portrait and seeing it again shook up the discontent and deep sadness that I experienced during that period …
I considered destroying the work, but something stopped me. It got a place in the living room and I asked for a dream. An inner voice told me to make a journey to one of my teachers in the dream world.
In that journey, my teacher showed me the outer circle of the symbol and told me to paint it while singing a specific prayer for healing. During painting it was as if I were in a quiet room. The only thing that counted in this space was the power of blessing. And so this symbol unfolded, bit by bit.
“Awakening” carries the power of transformation and dedication to the growth of the soul.
I could fill many pages about the lessons I received during this period, but the essence is this: “When we allow the power of blessing, it rains on the earth and brings new life. It opens us to the silent essence of our being. The path of the priest is the path of the heart. Everything may rest, in the arms of the blessing heart … Blessings for All! “
