Cancellation conditions and house rules Anam Cara Centre
Cancellation conditions
All our conditions for cancellation apply from the moment of registration, regardless of the moment of payment.
When the Anam Cara Centre cancels a course, we will refund the full amount of the registration fee. Neither the Anam Cara Centre nor the course supervisors can be held liable for any other costs.
If you cancel a course or activity yourself, you must do so in writing (e-mail, fax or letter). Telephone or oral cancellations are not valid.
The student must pay the full participation fee at the start of the course unless otherwise agreed and confirmed in writing.
When the course is stopped prematurely, in principle no refund will be made for the part that has not been taken.
Cancellation costs:
- If you cancel up to 2 months in advance, you do not pay a cancellation fee.
- If you cancel from 2 months to 3 weeks before the start of the course, you pay a 20% cancellation fee.
- If you cancel from 3 weeks to 7 working days before the start, you pay 50% of the course fee.
- With a later cancellation or if you do not cancel / do not show up, you pay 100% of the course fee.
If you find someone who can take your place, you only pay € 10 as a contribution to the administration costs. A replacement can only be made before the start of the course, after written approval from the Anam Cara Centre and does not apply to subsequent years in the courses.
Failure to pay the participation fee is never considered a cancellation.
Typesetting errors in prices and data in publications from the Anam Cara centre or our communications both online and offline cannot be invoked as an argument for cancellation after the start of a course or for a refusal to pay the actual course fee.
House rules Anam Cara
Failure to comply with our house rules will result in the termination of your participation.
In the centre:
The centre is a vegan, drug and alcohol free centre. As a participant you respect this during your stay, out of respect for our mission of ecology and compassion.
No alcohol and drugs are allowed. All participants are sober to the activity.
Separate dietary requests for medical reasons are reported at least 1 week in advance, so that this can be passed on to the caterer. This only concerns vegetable meals.
Any form of verbal or physical aggression or intimidation is excluded.
If you have medical, psychological or emotional challenges or limitations, you are responsible for submitting this to the organization well in advance. Neither the centre, the owners of the location, nor the supervisors can be held liable for any damage of any kind.
If you participate in a sweat lodge ritual, you declare by registering that you have no cardiovascular disease or epilepsy, and that you have permission from your doctor to participate.
For activities such as breathwork and fire walking, as well as all longer annual trainings, you sign the accompanying disclaimer at the beginning of the course.
Around the centre:
The Anam Cara centre is located on a nature reserve. All participants are therefore also responsible for treating the surrounding nature and streets with respect.
You use the parking at the Church of Veerle-Heide. So we avoid inconvenience to the street residents. People who have difficulty walking can let us know in writing and we will find a solution in consultation with the centre. It is not allowed to park at the neighbours properties.
The centre is focused on meditation and nature awareness. There is always respect for the local residents and no noise or loud music is ever made after 10 pm.
